The project “Olympic Heroes – Emotions on the Top” has started, an initiative for psychological support, aimed at the teachers, competitors in Informatics and their parents. The projects is realized with the financial support of Musala Soft and the donations of the company’s employees in Bulgaria and North Macedonia, with the assistance of Biserka Yovcheva – Co-Founder of EJOI and head of the “A & B” school – Shumen, and Krasimir Manev, President of EJOI.

Success and medals bring joy to all, but the challenges, faced by teachers, competitors and parents, go beyond the educational aspects. The focus of the project is providing psychological support and development of skills and abilities to cope with stress and perform under pressure for achieving high results.” – shared Elena Marinova, President of Musala Soft, during the opening online meeting.  

“Olympic Heroes – Emotions on the Top” aims to inspire the participants and to give them directions for their sustainable growth. In seminar meetings and individual consultations, they will work on getting to know and implementing:

– strategies for increasing the motivation in students;

– psychological techniques for emotional self-regulation and minimizing the effects of high competitive pressure;

– approaches for leadership of the teams and dealing with the negative effects of a wide palette of emotions;

– partnership approach in individual work with gifted kids and their parents.

 

Leading the project is Diyana Dobreva-Hristova – an expert in the field of psychological support of efficiency, performance and high achievements, and emotional self-regulation and emotional intelligence coach. What is more, she has practical experience in psychological training of competitors for international competitions and olympiads in Mathematics and Informatics.
