Musala Soft with considerable growth in 2009    (áúëăŕđńęŕ âĺđńč˙)

Musala Soft registered 22% more in sales in year 2009 in comparison with 2008 and expansion of the team. Among company's achievements are commercial projects for clients in Bulgarian and abroad and execution of applied research projects financed by the National Science Fund under the Ministry of Education, Youth and Science.

In 2009 more than 20 new professionals were employed. The realized financial results re-affirm Musala Soft position as a leader at the IT market and prove that economic stagnation and oscillation in the sector do not affect negatively company’s activities.

Another important achievement in year 2009 is the obtained certification - CMMI Level 3. Musala Soft is the first Bulgarian company with mentioned distinction.

“The growth in 2009 was achieved due to the joint team’s efforts and the excellent work synchronization between the different sections. In addition to the excellent economic results, Musala Soft created its R&D department (Center of Innovations) which is involved in conducting applied researches together with academic institutions and innovation centers of commercial organizations.” - commented Delyan Lilov, CEO of Musala Soft.

Among the funded applied research projects are: "Automated extraction of business rules and processes from software code (Business Rules Mining)" in the “Stimulating the Scientific Research in Priority Areas” competition jointly with the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at Sofia University, the Faculty of Physics at Sofia University, the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Science (IMI-BAS) and Musala Soft; "Unified “Agile CMMI” Software Process - Integration of Agile Methods for Software Development with the CMMI Model" in the competition “Stipends for Doctoral Students Preparing Their Theses in a National Company” between IMI-BAS and Musala Soft; "Automated approaches for software erosion reduction and code quality improvement" between FMI and Musala Soft again in the competition “Stipends for Doctoral Students Preparing Their Theses in a National Company”; "Fast orientation in complex information systems (FOCIS)": in “Young Researchers” competition jointly between the Science Research Sector (SRS) of Technical University - Sofia and Musala Soft.
