Microsoft Bulgaria supports the fifth round of the programming contest of Musala Soft and PC Magazine Bulgaria    (българска версия)

Microsoft Bulgaria continued the tradition of supporting the fifth round of the programming contest, organized by Musala Soft and PC Magazine Bulgaria. Microsoft contributed in defining the problem task and provided the awards for the participants.

The winner Ivaylo Strandjev, graduated at Sofia Math School and currently is a student in the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at Sofia University. He won the big award bestowed by Microsoft Bulgaria - video game console XBOX 360. Ivaylo takes part in lots of national and international competitions in Mathematics and has a number of awards and medals. Bowling is his hobby and has a twin brother, who participates in the programming contest of Musala Soft and PC Magazine Bulgaria as well.

Second and third place, respectively Plamen Tomov and Ivaylo Boiadjiev won Microsoft Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000. All participants from first to tenth place took books, provided by Microsoft Bulgaria.

Awards were bestowed on 24th of March in Musala Soft office. Among the guests were present Georgi Bouchkov Developer Manager at Microsoft Bulgaria, Tervel Niagolov, editor-in-chief of PC Magazine Bulgaria and Plamen Tsekov, VP business development at Musala Soft.

"For seventh consecutive year Microsoft Bulgaria supports the organization of this competition. We are glad that contestants are so enthusiastic and are facing the challenges of all the problems. Microsoft realizes how important is the contribution of software engineers for the development of new technologies and we are supporting them in the realization of their potential." - commented Georgi Bouchkov.
