Sofia, 2-3.07.2008

On 2-3 of July in Kempinski Hotel Zografski, was held the first ever conference in South East Europe in the field of Software Testing and Software Quality Management. South East European Software Testing Conference (SEETEST 2008) was organized by Quality House, South East European Testing Board and International Software Quality Institute (iSQI). Leading experts from foreign companies and organizations, as well as representatives from Bulgaria, compiled the list of participants. The conference addressed broad range of topics on software quality including Test Management, Test Methodology, Automated and Performance Testing, Test Metrics and Test Process Improvement.

Musala Soft was among the few Bulgarian companies with presentation at the event. Luba Ilieva, QA Lead, along with Damyan Kasapov, Team Leader, presented Musala Soft experience in the field of Automated Testing as part of the company portfolio of services. The presentation on the subject "Leveraging Automated Testing in Distributed Environments" outlined the idea of multilayer design of the tests, supported by the practical implementation of two of the Automated Testing leading instruments - HP testing toolset and IBM Rational Functional Tester. The advantages of this test design implementation resulted from Musala Soft experience in implementing automated testing solutions in complicated, heterogeneous and distributed environments.

"SEETEST is the first conference of such importance in our region. The participation at this forum gave us the opportunity to exchange knowledge, to check up with the new trends in the area of software testing and to present our own expertise in Automated Testing and Testing Process Management. I hope that events at similar professional level are to be organized every year in Bulgaria." - commented Luba Ilieva.
