Student wins the BASD round of the programming contest of Musala Soft and PC Magazine Bulgaria    (българска версия)

The sixth round of the private programming contest of Musala Soft and PC Magazine Bulgaria was held with the collaboration of the Bulgarian Association of Software Developers (BASD). The first four contestants had an even result, but the solution proposed by Momchil Tomov was the quickest one and, thefore, was awarded with first place.

This is the first time Momchil has won a round of the competition. He is a student in 11th grade at the High School of Mathematics in Pleven. He is programming since fifth grade and in present year took second place in the National Olympiad of Informatics which is one step towards the possibility of becoming part of the national team of Informatics which will represent Bulgaria at the Balkan and International Olympiads of Informatics. Second, third and fourth place in the contest were taken respectively by Veselin Georgiev, Gospodin Bodurov and Ivan Todorov.

Momchhil Tomov won "takeMS" MP3 Palyer 4GB, provided by PC Magazine Bulgaria as well as other awards provided by BASD and bestowed by Svetlin Nakov - Chairman of the Association.

On 9th of May is the final round of the competition which will be held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria - Mr. Georgi Parvanov - http://konkurs.musala.com.
