Musala Soft obtains IT Mark certification

Musala Soft successfully passed the audit by the Bulgarian Center of the European Software Institute (ESI) and became one of the first companies in Bulgaria, which obtained the international certificate for quality – IT Mark.
It Mark is the first international business and technical certificate for quality and maturity assessment, designed for SMEs. The certificate evaluates the company from 3 complementary points of view: Business Management, Information Security Management and Software and Systems Processes. IT Mark certification is proving the quality of software.
By completing the criteria for IT Mark, Musala Soft passed an important level towards the achievement of the CMMI (Capability Maturity Modeling Integration) certification. CMMI represents a process improvement approach that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes.
“In its biggest part, the quality system developed in Musala Soft and ISO 9001:2000 certified covers CMMI practices. We work actively for continuous improvement of processes and the CMMI certification will be a recognition of what we’ve done till now.” – stated Tsvetelina Kovacheva, Quality Manager at Musala Soft.
The CMMI certification project is supported by the USAID RCI (United States Agency for International Development - Regional Competitiveness Initiative) and by the VEGA BTD (Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance - Business and Trade Development).
