Musala Soft supported the Bulgarian team at International Olympiad of Mathematics     (българска версия)

Bulgarian children, proved once more, being among the first in knowledge at world level. Our last success is the excellent presentation of our four teams at the 10th Primary World Mathematics Contest (PWMC). The contest was held on 15-21 of July in Hong Kong.

Bulgaria was presented by four teams – two from Sofia, one from the Math school of Rousse and one from the Math school in Varna. Traditionally one of Sofia teams was from the Sofia Math School “Paisii Hilendarski” and this year surprise is the participation of 125th school “Prof. Boyan Penev”. In the individual final position Bulgaria holds one gold, two silver and 3 bronze medals. First place is for Daniel Dobrev from the Sofia Math School. In the team position the Math School from Varna took first place together with a team of the USA.

The PWMC is organized by the charity organization Po Leung Kuk. The Contest is an event that gathers together children all over the world. This year participated 48 teams from more than 20 countries.

The team of the 125th school “Prof. Boyan Penev” was financially supported by Musala Soft. The company was one of the sponsors of the talented students. The company patronizes many events related to Informatics such as the internet portal “Infoman”, the organization of the most prestigious private programming contest together with PC Magazine Bulgaria and the support of the Bulgarian national teams of Informatics.
