A seminar organized by the Bulgarian Software Quality Association (BSQA) was held on the 17th of June at Best Western City Hotel - Sofia. The topic was Software Test Automation. Sponsors were Musala Soft and Sciant. The Bulgarian Association for Software Developers (BASD) was a co-organizer.

The purpose of the seminar was to present to the audience the positive and negative experience as well as other challenges associated with implementing test automation in leading Bulgarian Software firms. Representatives of the companies Musala Soft, Rila Solutions, Tello and Tumbleweed participated as lectors.

Boyan Vatev, from Musala Soft made a presentation about "Automate software testing with IBM Rational Functional Tester". After a theoretical introduction about the IBM product, Vatev demonstrated in a real time its possibilities, strengths and weak points and gave valuable advices and recommendations based on his practical experience.

"Automated testing is used in the best companies worldwide and the overcrowded hall proved that the topic of the seminar reflected the needs of the software industry in Bulgaria. We are glad because of the strong interest and the possibility that we had to share our extensive experience with our colleagues in the ICT field" - stated Tsvetelina Kovacheva, QA Manager of Musala Soft.
