Musala Soft presented the leading IBM product for development of dynamic web-sites and web-based applications – the development environment IBM WebSphere Studio Site Developer. The presentation was delivered within the Fifth Bulgarian Web Seminar, which was held as an accompanying event before the award giving ceremony of the Bulgarian Web Site 2003 competition.

In his presentation titled IBM WebSphere Studio Site Developer – environment for dynamic website creation and web services standard implementation, Mr. Stanislav Ovcharov from Musala Soft demonstrated the functionalities of the leading IBM product for creation of web- and Java application. According to branch expert estimates, the product is one of the best on the market. It is based on the Eclipse platform (created by IBM and developed by the Open Source society), but is enhanced with broader functionality and a library of components. With the proliferation of e-business and e-government projects in Bulgaria, there are rising expectations that the product’s popularity will increase.

The presentation aimed to show the opportunities for creation and support of dynamic web-sites, which the WebSphere Studio Site Developer provides. The emphasis was put on the ease of use of the environment and the way it enhances software specialists’ efficiency. Tools supporting the work of web-designers, web-developers and web-masters were presented, as well as for development of web-services.

Stanislav Ovcharov is an IBM Certified Solution Developer - IBM WebSphere Studio Application Developer. He is managing partner in Musala Soft and head of a team, participating in the development of one of the most innovative IBM products, IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator. Mr. Ovcharov has graduated from the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Sofia University. He is a medal winner from the International Olympiad in Informatics in Cape town, 1997, and coach of the Sofia University team in informatics that participated in the finals of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest, Hawaii 2002.
